OK Group Drops "Okcoin" Brand Name for Global Transition to "OKX"

·

Founded in 2013, Okcoin will now share the same name as OK Group’s other crypto venture, OKX—previously known as OKEx.

The major cryptocurrency exchange operator OK Group continues its business transformation, unifying its crypto brands under the single name "OKX."

Hong Fang, OK Group’s Chief Operating Officer and President of OKX, announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Okcoin will be rebranded to OKX in the coming months.

"I’ve been part of Okcoin for five years. Over the years, we’ve poured immense love and passion into our brand and product," Fang wrote.

Key Rebranding Phases

Fang emphasized that U.S. operations remain a strategic priority:

"Despite challenges, we remain committed to the U.S. as a visionary leader upholding standards that empower people and protect freedom through technology."
