To enhance your trading experience and improve capital efficiency, OKX will gradually roll out real-time settlement functionality across all perpetual, delivery, and options contracts. The initial phase begins on January 14, 2021 (16:00–17:00 HKT) with coin-margined perpetual and delivery contracts for:

Platform Adaptations
Users can access this feature via API, web, or mobile apps. Interface changes include:
Asset Display:
- "Realized PnL" removed (still factored into account equity).
Position Tracking:
- Eliminates "Settlement Base Price," "Settled PnL," and "Unrealized PnL" fields.
- Displays cumulative unrealized PnL since position opening.
Settlement Records:
- No new entries post-implementation (historical data remains queryable).

Important Notes for Existing Positions
Positions held at 16:00 HKT on January 14, 2021 will:
- Update opening price to the last settlement benchmark.
- Transfer all realized profits to contract balances.
- Reset displayed PnL, with recalculation starting at 16:00 HKT.
